HEY ALL!
10.25.07 I met with my Doctors last week. I still have double vision, but it has not gotten any worse, which is good news. There is the option for corrective surgery down the road if it doesn’t correct itself. My Radiation Oncologist, DR. Hu, wants me to have another MRI done this week or next, this will be a big indicator of progress (at least that is what we are praying for!). If you need something specific to pray for, that is it... a great MRI! I am on a very low dose of steroids to try to help reduce swelling around my left eye. I have a lot of my sense of taste back, it is amazing! I love the taste of food, and I am so glad to be experiencing what I eat again. My appetite is very good, there is a slow weight gain, I am up to 108lbs now, which is good! As far as energy goes, it is day by day. Some days I feel like I could sleep all day, others I am up and ready to clean house! On another note, there were a couple of benefits for me that went on over the past month, oh my, THANKS! Suzie Simpson, friends, you all out did yourselves. I can’t even express the gratitude we have for what you have done for us. Thank you, thank you! SO, here’s where I leave you...we don’t know much more, but we’ll know more in a couple weeks. There always seems to be a lot of waiting and that can be frustrating, but while I wait, I am trying to LIVE! Let’s live together and remind one another how precious life is and how we should live each moment to the fullest. Carpe Diem! Peace friends, until next time.
